Let's explore these ingredients in more detail...
Your dog requires proteins to build up and maintain organs, muscles and the functionality of enzymes. Meat is a good source of protein because it contains all the essential amino acids in the right ratio to each other and therefore has a high biological value. Meat also contains iron, zinc, selenium and B vitamins.
Goat Hearts are tender muscle meat that is full of many different vitamins and minerals. Goat hearts are also low in fat and cholesterol.
Goat Offal is an important part of any RAW feeding diet as i contains numerous important nutrients such as vitamin A and vitamin B12.
Goat Kidney is included as it is particularly high in protein but contains low levels of fat. It also contains high levels of Sodium, Vitamin B12 and Biotin.
We include Turnip as it offers a variety of vitamins such as Vitamin A, B1, B2 and C plus Calcium, Potassium and Magnesium.
Pumpkin is a real superfood due to its nutrient and fibre richness. In addition to its important fibre, Pumpkin also offers high levels of Vitamins A, C, E, Magnesium, Pantothenic acid, Potassium, Zinc while also acting as a natural high-quality supply of vegetable protein.
The liver contains large amounts of various vitamins such as A, C and D. In addition, it is comparatively low in fat and has a high amount of proteins.
Eggshell flour contains natural minerals and trace elements and has a particularly high bio-availability, so it can be very well absorbed by the organism. The nutrients contained in the eggshell flour support the skeleton build-up and a strong dentition - especially in the growth.
The rosehip is a true superfood supplement and particularly rich in important nutrients such as Vitamins A, E, K, B1, B2, B3, B6 and especially Vitamin C, as well as pectins and tannins.
Thyme stimulates the appetite and has a disinfectant and antispasmodic effect. It is also an expectorant for respiratory problems.

Adult dogs 30kg+: approx

(up to approx. 15 kg): approx. 2-3% of the bodyweight
Young Dogs up to 8 months: approx

Daily feeding guide chart
|Adult Dog Weight||Daily feed Amount*|
The % figure relates to the bodyweight of your dog.
Example: A dog with a weight of 20kg and a recommended daily feed quantity of 2-2.5% would require 400-500g of food per day.
The above values are guidelines for the amount of food for normally active, not neutered healthy dogs. However, individual needs may differ by up to 50% from the calculated values due to age, breed or activity. These are only starting points for the estimation of the daily amount of feed.
Storage & Feeding: Once opened we recommend using all of the contents within 4 days and storing in your fridge between meal to keep it fresh, this is to ensure the highest nutritional value of the ingredients as we do not use any synthetic preservatives within the food.
To store unopened: Keep in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight
Once opened: Store in the fridge & use within 4 days
How to transition from your current dog food onto FRESCO...
You can easily transition your dog one of two ways depending on your dog's acceptance to new foods within their diet. There is no set rule as every dog is different, we do however favour a straight swap technique for effortless transitioning.
- Skip a meal (preferably an evening feed) and simple serve our FRESCO food the next morning
- Feed a single protein, one they are most comfortable with and have eaten previously. Feed this protein for a 14 day period so their internal digestive system can adapt to their new food
Add new proteins, After 14 days simply start introducing new proteins into their diet, we recommend a minimum of 3 proteins. Alternate these proteins throughout the month to create a varied balanced diet.
How to serve:
Simply serve your desired amount based on your dog's age, weight and activity levels.
Top Tip: Our Wet Food lines can be happily mixed alongside our Dry RAW diets, calculate both amounts separately as your Dry RAW portion will be less than the wet food amount required per day as it contains little to no moisture.

Great my dog is a fussy eater but loves this sausage and never leaves any.
My dog and I have been on a bit of a journey lately, trying different foods to get on top of his chronic skin problems.
We’ve been using Fresco products for a couple of months now, started with rabbit, but had to switch proteins as he reacted to it. Next try was goat, and he has sampled all the Fresco goat products now, wet and dry, but this one is by far his favourite! He can’t get enough of it, squeals as soon as he sees me reach for it, and licks his bowl right round the kitchen!
It really suits his tummy too, so hopefully goat will be good for his skin and he can continue to have it.
Excellent products and service from Fresco, we are so happy to have found this company.
