Let's explore these ingredients in more detail...
Your dog requires proteins to build up and maintain organs, muscles and the functionality of enzymes. Meat is a good source of protein because it contains all the essential amino acids in the right ratio to each other and therefore has a high biological value. Meat also contains iron, zinc, selenium and B vitamins.

A natural diet for dogs must contain a source of calcium, dogs rely on this to help build and maintain a healthy frame structure. We include Duck Neckbone within this food to help offer a natural supply of calcium while also including high levels of valuable fatty acids and enzymes.

Courgette, which is also known as Zucchini, has only a few calories and a high Vitamin C content. This strengthens the immune system and protects against many diseases. It also contains important fibre.

Sweet potatoes are not potatoes at all but belong to the winch family. Sweet potatoes are filled to the brim with nutrients and vital substances such as carotenoids and anthocyanin, these are important antioxidants that switch off free radicals and have an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect.

Rabbit Lung offers a low-fat content of only 2%, making this ingredient one of the leanest offals which offer many important minerals and vitamins.

Amaranth is a gluten-free pseudo-grain with an incredible abundance of nutrients and vital substances. It has a high lysine content, which is important for the production of L-carnitine. It is also rich in magnesium, iron and zinc.

Rabbit liver is particularly valuable because it contains high levels of iron and many vitamins (A, B 2, B 12, biotin etc.). Due to the gentle drying, heat-sensitive vitamins are better preserved.

Millet is particularly digestible and contains a lot of iron and magnesium. The contained silica and flour provide strengthening of the bones, nails and teeth.

Linseed is included within this meal as it is an important supplier of Vitamin E, linoleic and alpha-linoleic acid as well as essential fatty acids.

European Wheat Germ Oil is included as it is high levels of Vitamin E which can help develop strong and healthy muscles, healthy circulatory and immune systems within your dog's body & structure.

Parsley contains many important essential oils, vitamins and minerals. Above all, we use parsley because of its high vitamin C content.

Wild garlic has an antibiotic effect, stimulates the immune system and lowers cholesterol.

Brewer's yeast provides your dog with B Vitamins, valuable amino acids and trace elements such as biotin, folic acid, iron and zinc. The ingredients have good bioavailability and can, therefore, be ideally absorbed and used. Brewer's yeast promotes cell regeneration.

Our team of experienced fisherman gather only the finest quality Seaweed & Green Lipped Sea Shell's directly from the sea bed. Both ingredients offer many important suppliers minerals such as (magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and iodine).

Adult dogs 16kg to 30kg: approx
1% of body weight
Adult dogs 30kg+: approx

Smaller breeds
(up to approx. 15 kg): approx. 1-1.5% of the bodyweight
Young Dogs up to 8 months: approx
2-3% of the current body weight
Daily feeding guide chart
Adult Dog Weight | Daily feed Amount* |
---|---|
5kg | 50-75g |
10kg | 100-150g |
16kg | 160g |
30kg | 240-300g |
The % figure relates to the bodyweight of your dog.
Example: A dog with a weight of 20kg and a recommended daily feed quantity of 1% would require 200g of food per day.
Our Dry RAW Complete Menu Rabbit contains approx. 426 kcal / 100g. The above values are guidelines for the amount of food for normally active, not neutered healthy dogs. However, individual needs may differ by up to 50% from the calculated values due to age, breed or activity. These are only starting points for the estimation of the daily amount of feed.
Storage & Feeding: Once opened we recommend using all of the bag's contents within 8 weeks, this is to ensure the highest nutritional value of the ingredients as we do not use any synthetic preservatives within the food. To store, simply seal the foil packaging with its zip-lock feature and keep in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
How to transition from your current dog food onto FRESCO...
You can easily transition your dog one of two ways depending on your dog's acceptance to new foods within their diet. There is no set rule as every dog is different, we do however favour a straight swap technique for effortless transitioning.
- Skip a meal (preferably an evening feed) and simple serve our FRESCO food the next morning
- Feed a single protein, one they are most comfortable with and have eaten previously. Feed this protein for 14 days so their internal digestive system can adapt to their new food
-
Add new proteins, After 14 days simply start introducing new proteins into their diet, we recommend a minimum of 3 proteins. Alternate these proteins throughout the month to create a varied balanced diet.
How to serve:
Simply pour your desired amount based on your dog's age, weight and activity levels.
Note: There is no need to add water directly to Dry RAW food to hydrate, instead you simply fill their water bowl as normal.
How to store…
Store FRESCO Dry RAW away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Once opened bags can be easily closed again thanks to the pressure seal and foil-lined packaging thus making the food use-able for up to 8 weeks from the day of opening.
* Important: Of our energy-rich dry food, which does not contain any fillers such as grain, rice, potatoes etc., your dog only needs about half as much as from another extruded premium dog food (Royal Canin, James Wellbeloved, Eukanuba etc.).
Therefore, it is perfectly normal for your dog's stools to be only half of what they would be on a standard kibble diet as our FRESCO Dry RAW is perfectly balanced for your dog's digestive system resulting in more goodness being consumed into your dog's body reducing the amount of food simply passing through their digestive system.
