Let's explore these ingredients in more detail...
Your dog requires proteins to build up and maintain organs, muscles and the functionality of enzymes. Meat is a good source of protein because it contains all the essential amino acids in the right ratio to each other and therefore has a high biological value. Meat also contains iron, zinc, selenium and B vitamins.

Beef lung is included within this diet as it is naturally high in protein plus containing a source of sodium, vitamin B12 and biotin.

Beef Heart is included within this diet as it is naturally very high in protein and low in fat whilst offering a natural source of biotin and potassium.

Beef Kidney is included as it is particularly high in protein but contains low levels of fat. It also contains high levels of Sodium, Vitamin B12 and Biotin.

Beef Liver isn't only an excellent source of protein, zinc and iron but also a great natural source of Vitamin A, B2, B12,& Biotin. It is by far the most nutritional organ meat which is why it should always be included in every dog's diet.

Sweet potatoes are not potatoes at all but belong to the winch family. Sweet potatoes are filled to the brim with nutrients and vital substances such as carotenoids and anthocyanin, these are important antioxidants that switch off free radicals and have an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect.

Our local farmer handpick pears then gently cleans with fresh water before we add to our mix. Pears contain Vitamin B & C, plus is packed with natural Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium, Phosphorus, Zinc, Copper, Iron & Iodine.

Chia seeds offer a high proportion of omega-3 fatty acids whilst being naturally rich in calcium and iron.

Linseed is included within this meal as it is an important supplier of Vitamin E, linoleic and alpha-linoleic acid as well as essential fatty acids.

We add a small dash of salmon oil into this recipe as it offers a natural addition of essential fatty acids while also offering a balanced Omega 3 to Omega 6 ration.

Our team of experienced fisherman gather only the finest quality Seaweed directly from the sea bed. Both ingredients offer many important suppliers minerals such as (magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and iodine).

Brewer's yeast provides your dog with B Vitamins, valuable amino acids and trace elements such as biotin, folic acid, iron and zinc. The ingredients have good bioavailability and can, therefore, be ideally absorbed and used. Brewer's yeast promotes cell regeneration.

The rosehip is a true superfood supplement and particularly rich in important nutrients such as Vitamins A, E, K, B1, B2, B3, B6 and especially Vitamin C, as well as pectins and tannins.

How to transition from your current dog food onto FRESCO...
You can easily transition your dog one of two ways depending on your dog's acceptance to new foods within their diet. There is no set rule as every dog is different, we do however favour a straight swap technique for effortless transitioning.
- Skip a meal (preferably an evening feed) and simple serve our FRESCO food the next morning
- Feed a single protein, one they are most comfortable with and have eaten previously. Feed this protein for 14 days so their internal digestive system can adapt to their new food
-
Add new proteins, After 14 days simply start introducing new proteins into their diet, we recommend a minimum of 3 proteins. Alternate these proteins throughout the month to create a varied balanced diet.
How to serve:
Simply serve your desired amount based on your dog's age, weight and activity levels.
Top Tip: Our Wet Food lines can be happily mixed alongside our Dry RAW diets, calculate both amounts separately as your Dry RAW portion will be less than the wet food amount required per day as it contains little to no moisture.
